ATSILS offers a wide range of civil, family, and criminal law services, along with prevention, intervention, community legal education programs, coronial and public sector monitoring, and Throughcare services.

ATSILS operates from over 20 locations across Queensland, providing crucial legal support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The organization is funded by the Queensland Government’s Department of Justice and Attorney General through a national mechanism. With a dedicated team of over 200 staff members specialising in Criminal, Civil, and Family Law, ATSILS has expanded its services to include Law Reform, Community Legal Education, and Throughcare Support.

ATSILS is committed to fostering collaborative partnerships with communities, government agencies, and non-government stakeholders to drive positive change and deliver high-quality legal services to individuals within or affected by the justice system. The organization acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the lands it operates on, honoring the contributions of Elders past, present, and emerging in supporting the diverse and culturally rich communities it serves.
